The Trial
The trial was brilliant, with great skin advice and she created a perfect look that I wanted. Kerry also did a trial for my mum too which was brilliant and it really suited her!
For your bridal trial, I invite you to join me in my purpose built home studio in Preston, where the kettle is always on! Over the course of the appointment, we'll have a good chat about your personal style, take a peek at your wedding dress, talk about your colour scheme, venue etc. As a make up artist, I like to imagine the whole picture: each bride and each wedding is unique.
I also ask about your make up preference, likes and dislikes, and how you envisage your make up to look. But don't worry if you've not really thought this through...together with my trained eye, experience and kit of wonders, we will create a look that is most beautifully, most perfectly you. Plus I can offer advice on skincare and make recommendations for lipsticks and other products you may wish to purchase for the day.
During the trial, I will also create a time plan for the day of the wedding, so you'll know when I will arrive, and the times each lady will have their make up applied (in co-ordination with your hairdresser/photographer etc). And don't worry, I always allow plenty of time to dress/drink prosecco/take selfies!
The Wedding Day
Kerry went above and beyond: not only there as a make up artist but it felt like she was a friend. She helped with general running of the morning, and really helped to take away my wedding morning jitters!!
The big day has finally arrived. You've hardly slept, people are arriving and emotions are running high! Wedding mornings can be a little overwhelming and stressful, and that's ok, in fact it's quite normal! With me as part of "Team Bride", I can promise you, I'll do my very best to keep you calm, relaxed and on time! All you need to worry about is keeping your prosecco glass topped up!
As I've already mentioned, at the trial, you'll be fully prepped with the plan of action and lots of advice for on the morning of the wedding, whether getting ready at home or at the venue. When I arrive, I will set up my kit, grab a quick brew (always love a brew!) and get cracking!
Once the hair and make up process is complete and it's time to dress, I'm still there to offer help and support. I'm a whizz at dressing brides, popping on mums hat and pinning on dads corsage. Showing bridesmaids how to hold their bouquets, even bribing little ones with sparkly lip-gloss. Nothing is too much trouble, and often I've thought of things before you do. I don't leave until you do: ALWAYS on time of course!
